We will always try to get your taxi repaired at the roadside. However, in some case this can’t be done, but handily, even our standard cover guarentees your taxi will be taken to a local garage within 10 miles of your breakdown, to be fixed that day. In rare cases, this may not be able to be done either, but we’ve got you covered there too because our customers will have the option of a replacement hire vehicle and even overnight accommodation of up to £500. Please do read through your documentation and some restrictions to these scenarios may apply.
Nationwide recovery is a brilliant option for taxi drivers. It ensures that if your vehicle can’t be fixed within one working day, we will make sure that you, your taxi and up to 7 passengers will be transported to your required destination, as long as it’s within the UK.
Another great option is Home Assist. If you breakdown locally, within 1 mile of your home address, we’ll send help to you there; getting you back on the road and earning your living as quickly as possible.
With our taxi breakdown cover you even get the option of a replacement hire car (with up to £150 reimbursed) should you need one whilst your taxi is being repaired. Not to mention you're covered for punctures and flat batteries.
